Today marks the beginning of The Lunar (Chinese) New Year and this is the Year of The Rabbit! 

You're a Rabbit if you were born in 1951,1963,1975,1987,1999 or 2011 and, according to the Chinese zodiac, you're likely to be vigilant, witty, quick-thinking, and ingenious. 

Lots of symbolism surrounds the Lunar New Year and tangerines and oranges are two of the most prominent ones.

As it happens, the Chinese word for "tangerine" sounds like the word for "luck" and  the word for "orange" sounds like the work for "wealth". The bright color of these fruits symbolizes gold, so it's believed that tangerines and oranges bring good luck and wealth!
