Lani Swims with The Sharks!

Pittsburgh Teen CEO and founder of Simple Sugars to appear on ABC’s “Shark Tank”

March 26, 2013 (Pittsburgh, PA) – Teen Entrepreneur Lani Lazzari will appear on “Shark Tank,” FRIDAY, MARCH 29 (9:01-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

When Lani Lazzari whipped up her first batch of Simple Sugars scrubs at 11 years-old, and subsequently created a successful e-commerce business by 13, little did she know that by the time she was 18 she’d be swimming with the sharks!
On Friday, March 29th Lazzari will appear on ABC’s Shark Tank to pitch her growing business to The Sharks! The top-rated Friday night show gives entrepreneurs a chance to make the big-time by pitching their business idea to a panel of self-made millionaire and billionaire investors. Being the youngest entrepreneur to ever present a solo pitch to the panel didn’t shake Lani a bit, “The whole thing was actually pretty awesome. I wasn’t nervous at all, definitely excited but not nervous. Since selling is part of what I love most about being an entrepreneur, being in front of The Sharks was like making any other sales call – ok, it might have been the biggest sales call of my life – but it was fun!”
So, did The Sharks bite and make her a sweet deal? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
The Sharks in this episode of “Shark Tank” are Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary.
“Shark Tank” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format with stereo sound. This program carries a TV-PG parental guideline. For more information on “Shark Tank,” visit ABC.com.
